Thanksgiving specials at South Florida restaurants

Sure, you COULD spend days in the kitchen, rattling pots and pans trying to bring together a Thanksgiving dinner by Nov. 24.

Or — hear us out — you could let someone else do the cooking for you and your guests, say a restaurant or a market.

Feel that? It’s the stress already leaving your neck and shoulders.

The list below is not comprehensive by any means, but rather a curated collection of some of our favorite places to spend the holiday ... mostly because we ourselves are really, really terrible cooks.

The information for Broward and Palm Beach counties is in no particular order, and prices do not include tax and gratuity. We will update this post, so keep coming back.

This French-American bistro will be open for brunch on Thanksgiving from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will also have a BOGO special on mimosas, Bellinis and bloody marys.

Deck 84 will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for dine-in only. In addition to the full regular menu, holiday specials will include roasted butternut squash bisque ($8), lobster and pumpkin risotto ($25 or $38), pumpkin seed-crusted grouper ($35) and pumpkin cheesecake ($11).

There is also a Thanksgiving Dinner special ($31) with Dijon and herb-roasted turkey, sourdough-pretzel stuffing, sour cream and chive whipped potatoes, roasted cauliflower gratin, apple cranberry mostarda and cider-sage pan gravy.

Dune will be open on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 8 p.m. The holiday special is $98 per person and $45 for children age 6 to 12.

This restaurant in Mizner Park will be open from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for dine-in only. In addition to the regular menu, it will serve a Traditional Turkey Dinner ($30) with white and dark meat, house-made potatoes, herb stuffing, roasted vegetable medley, cranberry sauce and gravy.

Other specials include butternut squash soup ($10), kale salad ($17), pan-roasted grouper ($38), 16-ounce ribeye steak ($69) and pumpkin cheesecake ($14).

Buca di Beppo will be open on Thanksgiving Day for dine-in and take-out (these orders must be made by 8 a.m. Nov. 22).

A small Thanksgiving Feast To Go for three people is $105 and the large for six people is $192. These feasts include sliced white turkey, gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sausage stuffing, bread and butter, vegetables and pumpkin pie.

This shop and bakery will be open from 8 a.m. to noon for dine-in service on Thanksgiving Day, and will also offer three pre-cooked turkey and ham dinner packages for takeout.

Brio restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day with a menu for dine-in and takeout (these orders must be made by 8 a.m Nov. 22).

Brio’s Thanksgiving Dinner To Go is available for three people ($105) or six people ($192) and features roasted-sliced white turkey, herbed pan gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, Italian sausage stuffing, vegetables, cranberry sauce, focaccia bread and pumpkin pie.

Though closed for Thanksgiving, Brimstone in Pembroke Pines (there is a Doral location too) will offer a Takeout Thanksgiving Special for pickup on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 3 to 7p.m.

Burt & Max’s will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 4 to 8 p.m. for dine-in only. The specials will include butternut squash and sweet potato bisque ($9), apple and cranberry salad ($15), crab-crusted mahi mahi ($32), “burnt” pumpkin cheesecake and apple pie cobbler ($10 each).

There will also be a special of citrus-herb roasted turkey with side dishes of apple-sausage stuffing, whipped Yukon gold potatoes, sweet potato gratin, green beans and shallots, cranberry mostarda and giblet gravy for $28.

GG’s plans to open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Nov. 24. In addition to a special holiday menu, there will be a chef’s tableside Thanksgiving Carving service for six or more people at $65 per adult and $35 for children (free for younger than age 4). Dishes include:

All TooJay’s locations will be open on Thanksgiving Day with a traditional menu in addition to the usual deli specialties.

Chef Todd Lough has created The Thanksgiving Takeout Family Pack dinner-to-go and, unlike many similar offers, these meals will be packaged hot. The fully-cooked dinner serves eight people and costs $220. You may add a bottle of Jordan Cabernet for $75 (normally $95).

You must preorder by 4 p.m. Nov. 15, with pickup set for noon to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 24.

The family-style meal includes strawberry salad; roasted and carved turkey with pan gravy; focaccia stuffing, Yukon Gold potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts and pumpkin pie.

Both locations will also be open for dine-in service on Thanksgiving Day from 3 to 9 p.m. The Thanksgiving special ($32) is a herb-roasted turkey plate served with stuffing, gravy, whipped potatoes, brussels sprouts and a slice of pumpkin pie.

Ben’s Kosher Deli in Boca Raton will offer Thanksgiving Day seatings at noon, 1:30, 3:30 and 6 p.m.

Chef Rick Mace is offering a ready-to-heat Thanksgiving menu, but you must order by Nov. 22. Pickup is from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 23, and the restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving Day).

The Tropical Smokehouse Thanksgiving Menu is $199 and serves six to eight people. The dishes included are whole smoked Amish turkey, cranberry BBQ sauce, brussels sprouts, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and butternut squash pie.

Also, you may add Smoked Heritage ham to The Tropical Smokehouse Thanksgiving Menu for an additional $75 (a savings of $15 based on the a la carte price).
